Have you ever had those days when ice fishing and your rod guides keep freezing up?? This has to be one of the most irrarating things to happen when on the ice. Here’s a quick and easy solution, and most likely most of you have the answer in your pocket already! Simple trick; Apply chap-stick to the rod guides and the ice will stop building up! As it wears off simply apply a little bit more. This will save your fingers from turning into icicles while out in the cold weather! Try to stick with chap-sticks that don’t have scents as this could turn off the fish.
